About the Role
Our client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to join their team in Manchester . This role involves overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance within their manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet stringent industry standards and customer expectations. You will balance remote work responsibilities with essential on-site visits to inspect production lines, collaborate with teams, and conduct critical quality assessments. This hybrid position offers a unique blend of flexibility and hands-on engagement, crucial for maintaining the high quality our client is known for within the competitive UK market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished goods.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage and mentor the quality control team, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Science, or Quality Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant quality certifications.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site environments as required by the hybrid model.
