About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Manager to lead their quality assurance efforts in Coventry . This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and high standards of our client's manufactured products. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all quality control systems and processes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality control strategies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and train the quality control team, fostering a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with the R&D and production departments to ensure quality is integrated from product design to final output.
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance, including SOPs and compliance records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing a team.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
