Quality Control Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Manager to lead their quality assurance efforts within the manufacturing sector, operating in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) compliant with relevant industry standards.
• Establish and oversee quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing direction and performance feedback.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and customers on quality-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field; relevant quality certifications (e.g., ASQ) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proven experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and lead a team in a remote environment.
