Quality Control Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their production facility in Manchester . In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet the company's stringent quality standards and specifications. You will perform various tests and inspections throughout the production process, documenting findings and collaborating with the production team to address any quality deviations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods according to established quality control procedures.
• Operate and maintain various testing equipment and instruments, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
• Document all quality control activities, results, and non-conformance reports accurately and promptly.
• Identify and isolate non-conforming products or materials, initiating corrective actions and investigating root causes.
• Collaborate with production staff to implement quality improvements and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Participate in internal quality audits and assist with regulatory compliance checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality control principles, testing methodologies, and documentation procedures.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production setting in Manchester .
