Quality Control Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their manufacturing facility in Bradford . This essential on-site role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards throughout the production process. You will conduct various tests and inspections, document findings meticulously, and work closely with production teams to address any quality issues. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Accurately record and document all test results and inspection findings using established procedures and systems.
• Identify non-conforming products or materials and initiate the appropriate quarantine and corrective action procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with production staff to understand potential quality issues and support implementation of solutions.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality control procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality testing methods and equipment relevant to the industry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a laboratory or production environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
