About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team at their manufacturing plant in Cardiff . This role is vital in upholding the exceptional quality standards that our products are known for. You will be responsible for performing various tests and inspections throughout the production cycle to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance, working within a supportive and established manufacturing environment in the heart of Wales .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Operate and maintain various quality control testing equipment.
- Document test results accurately and report any non-conforming products or processes.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to all quality management system (QMS) procedures and industry standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies and equipment.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities in Cardiff .
