Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team in Manchester . This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of product quality expected by customers. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing and inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring that all products meet specified requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of quality control methodologies, and a commitment to upholding the integrity of our client's products on the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Document all inspection and test results accurately, identifying any deviations from quality standards.
- Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment, ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Assist in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical qualifications in quality control are advantageous.
- Previous experience working as a Quality Control Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with various quality control tools, techniques, and measurement devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and quality standards.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to report findings clearly and concisely.
