About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their busy manufacturing facility in Manchester . In this critical role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards. Your meticulous approach will be vital in identifying defects, analyzing results, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our client's product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products using various measurement and testing equipment.
- Document inspection and test results accurately in quality control logs and databases.
- Identify and report non-conforming products or materials to the Quality Manager.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure that all testing and inspection activities comply with relevant industry standards and company protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or Technician in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
