Quality Control Technician

About the Role

Our client is actively searching for a meticulous Quality Control Technician to join their quality assurance team in Leeds . This role is essential for ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications. You will be responsible for conducting various tests, inspections, and analyses throughout the production lifecycle, identifying and reporting any deviations from standards. This position is perfect for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of product integrity within a reputable manufacturing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Operate and maintain quality control testing equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
• Document inspection results, noting any non-conformities or defects accurately and promptly.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues and contribute to the development of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in quality control are a plus.
• Previous experience (2+ years) in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality control testing procedures and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and analysis.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
