I am currently working an opportunity for a Quality Coordinator based in Kent. This is a fantastic chance to join a leader within advanced fire detection and emergency lighting systems.
My client are seeking an organised and detail-focused Quality Coordinator to support the management, tracking and maintenance of product approvals, certification records and technical documentation for life-safety electronic systems. This is a key coordination role within a regulated manufacturing environment, working closely with engineering, quality, product management and external certification bodies.
Key Responsibilities for this Quality Coordinator based in Kent
Maintain registers and databases for product certificates, technical files, CE/UKCA documentation and third-party approvals.
Track certificate expiry dates, standard updates, surveillance audits and re-certification requirements.
Coordinate approval submissions for new and modified fire safety products, including panels, detectors, call points, sounders and sensors.
Maintain strict version control of technical dossiers, user manuals, schematics, compliance evidence and Declaration of Performance documents.
Liaise with external testing houses, notified bodies, certification authorities and component suppliers on approval status and documentation requirements.
Desirables for this Quality Coordinator based in Kent
Experience in administration, document control, approvals coordination or compliance support, ideally within a regulated manufacturing, electronics, fire safety or security systems environment.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and confidence managing structured records, logs and technical documentation.
Competent Microsoft Office user, particularly Excel, Word and SharePoint; experience with ERP or PLM systems would be beneficial.
An understanding of product standards such as EN 54, BS 5839, UL, FM, ISO 9001 or CE/UKCA documentation would be advantageous.
