Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract role supporting clean water infrastructure projects. The role will focus on the production, management and close-out of quality and handover documentation across Thames Water projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the preparation, management and close-out of handover documentation Maintaining accurate quality records throughout the project lifecycle Working with project, engineering and construction teams to ensure documentation meets required standards Reviewing quality documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance Monitoring document progress and identifying outstanding information required for project handover Contributing to quality assurance processes across clean water infrastructure projects Supporting the resolution of quality issues and ensuring corrective actions are properly recorded Communicating with internal teams, subcontractors and wider project stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Experience in a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer or similar role within civil engineering or the water sector Understanding of quality management systems and construction documentation Knowledge of civil engineering processes, particularly within clean water infrastructure Experience producing, reviewing and managing handover documentation Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Ability to interpret technical information and maintain accurate project records Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams Understanding of relevant construction, health and safety and quality standards
