Job Description
World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Quality Engineer / Inspector on an initial 12 month contract.
Rate: £45.00 per hour
Location: Bolton
Hybrid / Remote working: 4 days onsite / 1 day at home
Contract: 37 Hours per week
Overtime: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at ‘time and a quarter’
Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)
IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)
Job Description:
The department are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Engineer / Inspector to join the Quality Team providing support to the Manufacturing teams in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Frontline provision of non-conformance management supporting the Manufacturing functions, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities
Facilitation of non-conformance meetings across the Shop Floor, providing information concerning products and escalation of issues
Operational Surveillance and Certification Monitoring across the Manufacturing areas
Gemba Walks
As built verification checks
Experience / Skills:
Experienced Quality Inspector/Engineer with relevant work experience
Working knowledge of SAP
Good planning and organising skills to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to deliver set objectives
Highly self-motivated and demonstrate a determination and persistence to deliver results despite obstacles and setbacks
