We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Technical Ceramics business in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in driving quality performance and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate customer complaints, process failures and internal non-conformances
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Analyse quality data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Support quality procedures, inspection standards and control plans
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality
- Support internal and external audits and quality management system compliance
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the site
About You
- Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar technical quality role within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit requirements
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions and problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of SPC, inspection methods and manufacturing process controls
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and quality data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
