Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector specializing in the Aerospace sector to join their team in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for conducting rigorous inspections, verifying adherence to specifications, and identifying any non-conformities. Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
• Verify that all products meet specified drawings, standards, and customer requirements.
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Document inspection results accurately, reporting any non-conformities or deviations.
• Review manufacturing processes to ensure quality control is maintained throughout production.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the aerospace or a related high-precision manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment (e.g., CMM, micrometers, calipers).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and quality control procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
