- Supportive production and quality team The Company: Our client is an established precision engineering manufacturer producing high-quality components for customers operating within demanding and highly regulated industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to support their manufacturing operation in Stockton-on-Tees. Working Hours: The Quality Inspector will work a rotating three-shift pattern:
- Earlies: 07:00–15:00
- Lates: 15:00–23:00
- Nights: 23:00–07:00

Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect precision-engineered parts and components, ensuring they meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting products and components against technical drawings and customer requirements
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Clearly identifying, recording and quantifying completed work
- Supporting the production and assembly of precision-engineered components
- Identifying and reporting concerns relating to components, products, equipment or facilities
- Minimising and reporting scrap generated during allocated operations
- Maintaining accurate product identification throughout the manufacturing process
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
- Working responsibly and wearing the appropriate PPE
- Completing other reasonable duties requested by the Team Leader or Manager Skills & experience: The successful Quality Inspector should have:
- Previous inspection, quality or precision manufacturing experience
- The ability to understand customer drawings relating to manufactured components
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good manual dexterity, as the role involves handling very small components
- The ability to remain focused while completing repetitive inspection work
- A willingness to work rotating shifts
