Quality Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000 p.a.
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: 37 hrs/wk (Mon-Thu, Fridays off!)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
An established aerospace precision engineering manufacturer seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead their Quality & Inspection department with full operational autonomy and leadership responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the AS9100 QMS
Lead and mentor the Inspection team
Create/approve FAIR/LAIR documentation using VisualFAIR
Conduct internal/external AS9100 audits
Act as Approved Signatory for product release
Oversee calibration and qualification processes
Drive zero-defect/continuous improvement initiatives and serve as primary contact for customer quality matters.
Requirements:
Proven aerospace sector experience (essential)
Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9100
Hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience
Proven leadership/supervisory background in inspection/quality
Qualified auditor
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
(UK visa sponsorship not available.)
