Monday to Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 08:30am - 14:30pm Camberley

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function within a manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, leading the Quality Team and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

Essential background needed for this Quality Manager role

• Experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001.

• Previous people management experience.

• Experience applying quality and continuous improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, 5S and Root Cause Analysis.

• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager

• Support New Product Introduction activities, including testing requirements, FMEA reviews and production quality planning

• Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements.

• Manage supplier audits, approvals and performance monitoring programmes.

• Support the resolution of supplier quality issues and corrective actions.

• Lead customer quality audits and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Manage and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain third-party accreditations.

• Develop, review and maintain quality procedures, standards and specifications.

• Ensure quality requirements are understood and applied throughout the business.

• Lead investigations into non-conformances, concessions, rework and scrap reduction initiatives.

• Monitor and analyse quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Utilise quality tools including SPC, FMEA, 5S and Root Cause Analysis.
