Quality Manager - Burscough
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our well-established client based in Burscough on a permanent basis.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a QHSE Manager , Quality Assurance Manager , or Compliance Manager .
Rates of Pay:
- £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE)
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- 39 hours per week
- Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 16:30

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Quality Manager , you will work:
- Promoting a positive QHSE culture through leadership, communication, and consultation
- Mentoring colleagues on quality-related matters across the business
- Ensuring the Business Management System remains fit for purpose and aligned with business objectives
- Supporting the development of quality strategies, objectives, and continuous improvement plans
- Conducting audits and monitoring operational areas to ensure quality risks are effectively managed
- Acting as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies on quality matters
- Reviewing quality performance with senior management and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
- Monitoring and reporting on Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintaining compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, and other relevant quality management standards
- Leading ISO certification and surveillance activities
- Managing non-conformities, investigations, corrective actions, and ensuring timely close-out
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Quality Manager , you will need:
- Quality Management Systems training
- Auditor training and auditing experience
- Extensive knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, and relevant quality management standards
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent planning, organisational, and workload management abilities
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- A thorough understanding of management systems, compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Experience leading external quality audits and certification programmes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
Training:
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment
