Construction Quality Manager
Westminster
Salary: Competitive + Package
An established and growing main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Quality Manager to drive quality standards across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, new build and maintenance projects.
Projects range from £50,000 to £10 million.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Quality Manager or Clerk of Works looking to move into a dedicated quality-focused role where you'll influence projects from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and Directors, you'll champion a culture of quality throughout the business, helping deliver projects right first time while reducing defects and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Champion quality across all live construction projects.
*
Support project teams in developing and implementing Project Quality Plans (PQPs).
*
Review and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with specifications and statutory requirements.
*
Carry out regular quality inspections across multiple sites.
*
Identify quality issues, monitor corrective actions and ensure effective close out.
*
Produce inspection reports and provide practical recommendations to project teams.
*
Monitor quality trends and help implement continuous improvement initiatives.
*
Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
*
Deliver quality briefings and training to operational teams.
*
Produce regular quality performance reports for senior management.
About You
*
Previous experience as a Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Construction Quality Manager or Clerk of Works.
*
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, quality standards and building regulations.
*
Experience working on refurbishment, maintenance and new build projects.
*
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
*
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
*
Proactive approach with a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects.
*
SMSTS, CSCS and a strong understanding of construction quality processes.
