Quality Specialist

Copia Global is recruiting a Quality Specialist for a rapidly growing advanced materials company..

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the quality strategy, systems and culture of an innovative business. You will support production systems at customer sites and research and development activities at the company’s Cambridge Technology Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver quality assurance and improvement programmes.

• Own and maintain quality policies, procedures and management systems.

• Define quality objectives, process milestones and key performance indicators.

• Support compliance with legal, customer and ISO requirements.

• Lead practical quality initiatives across Engineering, Development and Operations.

• Support supplier management and auditing.

• Promote continuous improvement throughout the business.

About you

You will have:

• Experience in quality assurance within manufacturing, engineering or industry.

• A strong background in quality improvement or operational excellence.

• Experience managing projects and delivering results through teams.

• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.

• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with Integrated Management Systems, supplier auditing, Health, Safety and Environmental improvement, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma would be advantageous.

Relevant quality certifications, internal auditor training and experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are highly desirable. A science or engineering degree would also be beneficial.
