Job Description
Quality Technician focuses on test products or subassemblies for function or quality.
What the role involves
- Test products or subassemblies for function or quality.
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products.
- Managing waste in accordance with policies and transport accordingly to waste collection points.
- Preparing and assemble materials.
- Operate test equipment in accordance with manufacturing practices and standard work procedures.
- Assisting Engineers in developing, building and testing of prototypes, new products, processes or procedures.
Skills and requirements
- Ability to implement those processes.
- Able to interpret engineering proposals and liaise with other disciplines.
- Being able to contribute ideas to improve process times, quality and yield.
- Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, or MES systems for data entry.
