Key Responsibilities
- Develop, back-test, and implement quantitative models for market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential risk exposures.
- Validate the performance and accuracy of existing risk models and propose enhancements.
- Ensure models comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate risk models into operational systems.
- Prepare clear and concise reports on model performance, risk metrics, and findings for senior management.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Financial Engineering.
- Proven experience in quantitative finance, risk management, or data science.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or similar languages.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with financial markets and relevant risk management concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
