About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join their esteemed team in Milton Keynes . This role is crucial for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects remain financially viable, providing expert advice on contract and procurement matters, and aiming to minimize costs while maintaining required standards of quality. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and tenders for construction projects.
• Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and disputes.
• Monitor project expenditures and cash flow, providing regular financial reports.
• Advise on procurement strategies and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Negotiate and agree on final accounts with clients and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, RICS standards, and cost management principles.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
