A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Sheffield is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team. The consultancy delivers Building Surveying and Project Management services across the commercial, education, healthcare and public sectors. The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, extension, conversion and new build projects, predominantly valued between £0 - £5 million and located within approximately one hour of Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing consultancy with genuine long-term career progression. The role will include: Providing Quantity Surveying and cost management services across a range of projects Preparing cost plans, budgets and estimates Advising clients on project costs and financial implications Preparing tender documentation and supporting procurement Analysing tenders and preparing tender reports Undertaking valuations and assessing variations Monitoring project costs and expenditure Preparing and reviewing financial reports Managing change and assessing the commercial impact of variations Supporting the preparation and agreement of final accounts Working closely with clients, contractors and consultants Attending project and client meetings Providing commercial advice from project inception through to completion Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements: MRICS is essential Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a ...
