Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package Location: Taunton / South West Pro Staff are working with an established construction contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. The company delivers a diverse range of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects across the South West and South Wales, working within commercial, education, healthcare, leisure sectors.

The Role

• Managing the commercial aspects of projects from start through to final account
• Subcontractor procurement, management and payments
• Cost reporting, valuations and variations
• Preparing and agreeing final accounts
• Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors The Candidate:
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a main contractor xwwtmva environment
• Experience across refurbishment and/or new build projects
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Good communication and negotiation skills
