Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor | Yorkshire | £65k - £70k + Package

We're currently working with an established regional contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team working across projects throughout Yorkshire.

The role will involve taking commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with the operational team to ensure schemes are delivered successfully.

What You'll Be Doing;

Managing the commercial performance of projects

Subcontractor procurement, management and payments

Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports

Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow

Identifying and managing commercial risks

Working closely with site teams, clients and subcontractors

Managing final accounts and project close-out

What You'll Need;

Previous Quantity Surveyor experience within a main contractor environment

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

Experience managing subcontract packages and project costs

Confident communication and negotiation skills

Ability to manage projects with a good level of autonomy

Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction qualification
