Location: Leicester, LE19
Shift: 14:00-22:00
Pay Rate: £14.31 per hour
Positions Available: 3
Start: Immediate
Quest Employment are urgently recruiting for 3 experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join the warehouse operation of a well-established fashion and lifestyle retail business based in Leicester, LE19.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Reach Truck Drivers looking for ongoing work in a busy warehouse environment.
The Role
As a Reach Truck Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the wider warehouse operation. This is not a Reach Truck-only position - you will also be expected to get involved with general warehouse duties, including:
- Operating the Reach Truck safely and efficiently
- Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing stock for dispatch
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with day-to-day operations
- Working on the shop floor when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures and site processes
The successful candidates will be comfortable working across different areas of the warehouse and understand that being part of a warehouse team involves more than simply operating a Reach Truck.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s Reach Truck experience
- Valid accredited Reach Truck licence – essential
- In-house Reach Truck licences cannot be accepted
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience of picking and packing is desirable
- Comfortable carrying out a variety of warehouse duties
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
