About the Role

Our client is a visionary property development company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Developer to join their expanding team, operating on a fully remote basis to serve projects across Scotland. This critical role involves sourcing new development opportunities, managing the entire project lifecycle from conception through to completion, and ensuring profitability and adherence to strategic objectives. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative and sustainable developments that shape urban landscapes, particularly within key Scottish cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisitions and development opportunities.
• Oversee all phases of the development process, including planning, design, financing, and construction.
• Prepare detailed feasibility studies, budgets, and project timelines.
• Negotiate with landowners, contractors, architects, and local authorities.
• Manage project risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Real Estate Developer or in a senior development management role.
• Strong understanding of property development finance, planning regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent negotiation, project management, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex development projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders in a remote environment.
