Real Estate Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Real Estate Development Manager to lead ambitious projects across Glasgow and surrounding areas. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site project supervision and office-based strategic planning and financial management. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from site acquisition and planning through to construction and final delivery. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to shape the urban landscape of Scotland , working with a developer renowned for its quality and innovative projects within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential development sites, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.
• Oversee the planning application process, engaging with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Appoint and manage contractors, consultants, and other project team members.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for completed developments.

Requirements

• Significant experience (7+ years) in real estate development , project management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the development process, including planning, design, construction, and finance.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex development projects.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both a remote and on-site capacity.
