About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Development Manager to join their team in Southampton . This hybrid role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of real estate development projects, from initial site acquisition and feasibility studies through to planning, construction, and final disposition. You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and project teams, ensuring that developments meet strategic objectives and market demands. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential real estate development opportunities, including site selection and feasibility analysis.
• Manage all aspects of the planning and approval process with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, financial modelling, and secure necessary project financing.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the development process.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Market and sell or lease completed developments, working closely with sales and leasing teams.

Requirements

• Proven track record in real estate development project management, with successful completion of diverse projects.
• Strong understanding of property development, construction, planning regulations, and finance.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience with hybrid working models and utilising technology for project management.
• Relevant degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
