Real Estate Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Real Estate Development Manager to lead their development projects in and around Bradford . This hands-on role involves managing the entire lifecycle of property development, from site acquisition and feasibility studies to planning, construction, and final disposition. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a critical role requiring strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the real estate development process in the West Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential development sites, conducting feasibility studies and market analysis.
• Manage the planning application process, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of the construction phase, including contractor management and quality control.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Coordinate with legal teams on land acquisition, contracts, and sales.
• Ensure all developments comply with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Proven track record in real estate development management, with experience managing diverse projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, planning regulations, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
