About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-driven Real Estate Development Manager to lead key projects in the Liverpool area. This role involves managing the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to planning, construction, and final handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on, site-focused role requiring strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of real estate development projects, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and financial viability analyses for potential developments.
- Manage the planning application process, liaising with planning authorities and consultants.
- Appoint and manage consultants, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to contracts and performance standards.
- Control project budgets, timelines, and resources, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all developments comply with building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate development or project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex development projects, ideally in the UK.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, planning regulations, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and financial analysis tools.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred for this Liverpool -based role.
