About the Role

A well-established and growing law firm in London is looking for an experienced Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join its specialist property finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a strong background in property conveyancing, bridging finance and secured lending who is confident managing their own caseload from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for progressing their own files under appropriate supervision, working closely with solicitors and liaising directly with lenders, borrowers, brokers and other property professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of property finance and conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handling bridging finance and secured lending transactions under appropriate supervision.
• Managing residential and/or commercial property conveyancing matters , including reviewing titles and property documentation.
• Conducting title investigations and reviewing property searches.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, including loan agreements, legal charges and ancillary documents.
• Raising and responding to legal enquiries.
• Liaising directly with lenders, borrowers, brokers, valuers and other solicitors.
• Preparing completion statements and coordinating completions.
• Managing post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and file closures.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records using the firm's case management system.
• Ensuring lender requirements, regulatory obligations and internal procedures are followed.
• Providing professional, responsive and client-focused service throughout each transaction.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• Previous experience working in property conveyancing .
• Proven experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience as a Real Estate Finance Paralegal, Property Finance Paralegal, Conveyancing Paralegal or similar role .
• Experience handling bridging finance and/or secured lending transactions .
• A good understanding of property law, conveyancing procedures and secured lending.
• Experience dealing directly with lenders, brokers, borrowers and other property professionals.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• A professional, proactive and client-focused approach.

Desirable Experience

• Experience acting for specialist bridging lenders .
• Experience in commercial property finance or commercial conveyancing.
• Exposure to both regulated and unregulated lending matters.
• Knowledge of Land Registry requirements and post-completion procedures.
• Experience with Companies House registrations where applicable.
