About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their team based in Sunderland . This role is integral to the investment strategy, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and recommending potential real estate acquisitions and developments. You will conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior investment managers, you will play a key role in assessing the viability and potential returns of various property opportunities within the North East region and beyond, contributing to the growth and success of the company’s investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis, including cash flow projections, return on investment (ROI) calculations, and sensitivity analysis for potential real estate deals.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify investment trends, opportunities, and risks within specific geographical areas, focusing on Sunderland .
• Prepare investment committee reports, presentations, and memos summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, including reviewing legal documents, property reports, and environmental assessments.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing investment properties within the company's portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals to source new opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• 2-3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, finance, or a related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience with valuation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in real estate market research tools and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
