Real Estate Investment Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Investment Analyst to support their investment team. This role involves conducting market research, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential real estate acquisitions and developments. You will work closely with senior analysts and acquisition managers, providing critical data and analysis to inform investment decisions. This hybrid position offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration in our Liverpool office, ideal for an individual eager to grow their career in real estate investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the underwriting and financial analysis of potential real estate investment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models, including pro forma statements, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses.
• Conduct market research to understand local and regional property trends, demographics, and competitive landscapes.
• Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing property-specific data.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal review and decision-making.
• Monitor existing investments and track key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in real estate finance , investment banking, or a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Understanding of real estate valuation methods and investment principles.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment .
