About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their thriving investment division based in Leeds . This role is critical in identifying and evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities across the UK. You will conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence to support strategic investment decisions. The successful candidate will possess a strong quantitative background and a keen understanding of the real estate market dynamics, contributing directly to the firm's investment strategy and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze potential real estate investment opportunities, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.
• Develop detailed financial models to assess property valuations, cash flows, and investment returns (IRR, ROI).
• Conduct thorough market research, economic analysis, and demographic studies relevant to investment locations like Leeds .
• Perform due diligence on prospective acquisitions, reviewing legal, environmental, and financial aspects.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets and provide recommendations for asset management strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Investment Analyst, preferably within the real estate sector.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel, including DCF, LBO, and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment principles and market trends in the UK .
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
