About the Role

Our client, a well-established firm in Nottingham , is looking for a skilled Real Estate Litigation Solicitor to join its thriving property dispute resolution team. This role involves handling a diverse caseload of property-related disputes, including landlord and tenant issues, boundary disputes, easements, and contentious construction matters. You will be responsible for advising clients through negotiation, mediation, and, where necessary, litigation to achieve successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of real estate disputes, including possession claims, forfeiture, and breaches of covenant.
• Advise clients on residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters.
• Handle boundary disputes, rights of way, and easement claims.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Draft legal documents, including notices, pleadings, and settlement agreements.

Requirements

• Solicitor qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in property litigation.
• Solid understanding of landlord and tenant law, both residential and commercial.
• Experience in handling various property dispute resolution processes.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage client expectations and deliver pragmatic advice.
