Real Estate Paralegal

About the Role

Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support their busy property department in Wolverhampton . This role is critical in assisting solicitors with all stages of real estate transactions, including commercial and residential conveyancing. You will be responsible for managing caseloads, conducting legal research, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal to work within a highly respected legal practice and gain exposure to complex property matters in the Wolverhampton area, contributing to seamless client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist solicitors with the preparation and review of contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Conduct title searches, due diligence, and legal research on property matters.
• Manage client communications, providing updates and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and file necessary documentation with relevant authorities, such as the Land Registry.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with other parties involved in transactions, including estate agents, surveyors, and mortgage lenders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Paralegal , with a strong focus on real estate law.
• Thorough understanding of conveyancing procedures and property law in the UK.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of work effectively.
• Proficiency in legal software and document management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Based in or able to commute to Wolverhampton for hybrid working days.
