About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Real Estate Surveyor to join their established team based in Wolverhampton . This multifaceted role involves providing expert advice on property matters, conducting surveys, and managing property portfolios. You will undertake a range of surveying activities, including building surveys, defect diagnosis, and advising on maintenance and repair strategies for commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders across the West Midlands region. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive building surveys , structural inspections, and condition reports for various property types.
• Identify and diagnose property defects, providing clear and practical recommendations for remedial action.
• Advise clients on property maintenance, repair, and refurbishment projects.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals to manage project delivery and resolve issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, professional standards, and health and safety legislation.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor with relevant professional body membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in building surveying or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building pathology.
• Proficiency in surveying software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
