Real Estate Valuer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a qualified and meticulous Real Estate Valuer to join their team, covering the Bristol and South West England region. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and independent valuations of various property types for a range of purposes, including mortgage lending, asset management, and dispute resolution. This hybrid position requires a blend of remote research and analysis, coupled with on-site property inspections and client meetings within the Bristol area. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of valuation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections of properties to assess their condition, features, and marketability.
• Prepare detailed and comprehensive valuation reports using recognised methodologies.
• Analyze market data, comparable sales, and local economic factors influencing property values.
• Provide advice on property values for a variety of clients, including financial institutions and private individuals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property markets, legislation, and best practices in valuation.
• Ensure all valuation activities comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor (MRICS or similar) with significant valuation experience.
• Proven expertise in residential and/or commercial property valuation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client liaison.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively within a hybrid work structure.
• Knowledge of the Bristol property market and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
