Position: Mental Health Support Worker Contract Type: Permanent - Fully office based

Salary: £26,980

Rota Basis Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday, with one late shift of 12:30pm - 9pm. Weekend shifts are 9am - 9pm Saturday and Sunday, or 10am - 8pm Saturday and Sunday Location: Sydenham

Required:

Education: Psychology undergraduate degree or equivalent Experience: 2 years Industry: Health and social care Specific skills: As on the person spec Personality & attributes: As on the person spec Top 5 priorities: Commute 1 hour or less, education/experience, digital dexterity/computer skills, knowledge of mental health diagnoses, admin skillsWhat You'll Do:

Support Clients: Provide tailored support and guidance to individuals in recovery, helping them set and achieve personal goals Collaborate: Work closely with a diverse team of professionals to create individualised recovery plans Facilitate Workshops: Organise and lead workshops that promote skills development, resilience, and self-confidence Community Engagement: Foster connections within the community to enhance support networks for clients Monitor Progress: Regularly assess clients' progress and adjust recovery plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomesWhat We're Looking For:

Experience: Proven experience in recovery support, social work, or a related field Empathy: A genuine passion for helping others and a strong understanding of the recovery process Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust and rapport with clients Team Player: A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneouslyWhy Join Our Client?
