Job Description
Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Contract: Temporary - 3 month Assignment
About the Role
Are you passionate about helping people rebuild their lives? We're looking for a
compassionate and motivated Recovery Coordinator to join our specialist substance misuse service.
You'll support individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, providing person-centred support, recovery planning, and coordinated interventions that empower people to achieve sustainable recovery.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload from assessment through to recovery and discharge.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and personalised recovery plans.
- Deliver regular key working sessions and progress reviews.
- Coordinate tailored interventions to meet individual needs.
- Signpost and refer clients to specialist services, including:
- Housing
- Mental Health Services
- Employment & Education
- Benefits Advice
Experience in substance misuse, mental health, homelessness, criminal justice, or a related support setting.
Experience managing a caseload.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive and professional relationships.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience maintaining accurate records and reports.
Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience using case management systems.
Knowledge of recovery-focused interventions.
Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Experience working within multi-agency environments.
