Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and coordinate a schedule of recreational programmes and events.

• Manage budgets for recreational activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
• Liaise with community groups, schools, and other organisations to identify needs and opportunities.
• Ensure all programmes comply with health, safety, and child protection policies.

Requirements

• Experience in programme coordination, event management, or a related field, preferably within the community or leisure sector.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and experience with scheduling software.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative.
• Relevant qualification in recreation, sports management, or a related discipline is advantageous.
