Recruitment Consultant - Construction

About the Role

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy, is looking for a skilled Recruitment Consultant with experience in the Construction sector to join their team in Reading . This role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process for construction professionals, from site engineers and project managers to quantity surveyors and site managers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships within the construction industry and sourcing high-quality candidates. This hybrid position allows for a blend of office-based collaboration and remote working flexibility, supporting our client's presence in Reading and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of construction and civil engineering roles.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients in the construction industry, understanding their project needs and hiring demands.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial client brief to offer negotiation and successful placement.
• Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and industry networks.
• Achieve and exceed individual placement and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Requirements

• Proven experience in recruitment, with a specific focus on the Construction sector.
• Strong understanding of construction roles, terminology, and industry dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing office and remote work from the Reading location.
• Proficiency with recruitment software and online sourcing tools.
