About the Role

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy based in Nottingham , is seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their specialized Education team. This role focuses on recruiting teachers, support staff, and leadership professionals for schools and educational institutions. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, building strong relationships with educational establishments and attracting high-quality candidates. The hybrid working model offers flexibility, balancing focused remote work with essential collaborative sessions in our Nottingham office, ensuring you are part of a supportive and effective team.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for teaching and support roles within the education sector .
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.
• Understand client requirements and effectively match candidates to suitable positions.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and vetting procedures for all candidates.
• Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through to placement and beyond.
• Stay updated on trends and developments within the UK education market .

Requirements

• Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in recruitment, preferably within the education sector .
• Good understanding of the UK education system and the recruitment needs of schools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
• Commitment to upholding safeguarding standards in recruitment.
