About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is looking for a skilled Recruitment Consultant to lead their Engineering division in Oxford . Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for engineering positions, including mechanical, civil, electrical, and software engineers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Source and attract highly qualified engineering candidates through targeted advertising, networking, and database searches.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments to verify technical skills, experience, and suitability.
• Negotiate offers and manage candidate onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
• Achieve and exceed personal and team placement and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong preference for a background in engineering recruitment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a recruitment desk and consistently deliver results.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
• A solid understanding of the engineering industry and its various disciplines.
• Results-oriented with a proactive approach to client and candidate management.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive, office-based environment.
