About the Role

Our client, a well-established recruitment consultancy, is looking for a dedicated Recruitment Consultant to specialize in the industrial sector, based in Plymouth, Devon . This role involves sourcing and placing skilled personnel, from operational staff to supervisory roles, within manufacturing, logistics, and engineering firms. You will play a vital role in understanding the specific needs of industrial clients and identifying candidates with the requisite technical skills and experience. The position offers a great chance to develop expertise in a key sector, build lasting relationships with clients and candidates, and contribute to the ongoing success of the consultancy in the South West region.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for various industrial positions.
• Develop strong relationships with clients in the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering sectors.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring timely and effective placements.
• Understand and communicate technical job requirements to potential candidates.
• Utilize various sourcing channels to build a robust candidate pool.
• Negotiate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment , ideally with exposure to the industrial, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of common industrial roles and required skill sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with both clients and candidates.
• Organized, proactive, and results-driven approach.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
