About the Role
Our client, a well-established Recruitment Consultancy based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear , is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Consultant specializing in the Industrial sector. This role is focused on serving clients within manufacturing, logistics, and engineering industries, matching skilled professionals with temporary and permanent roles. You will be responsible for developing client relationships, managing vacancies from start to finish, and building a strong candidate pool within the industrial specialism. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious consultant to carve out a niche and grow within a supportive and forward-thinking agency in the North East.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for industrial and engineering roles, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the industrial sector across the Sunderland area.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial client brief to offer negotiation and placement.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and techniques to attract hard-to-find candidates.
- Understand client needs thoroughly and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records on the company's CRM system.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant , ideally within the industrial, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client management.
- Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.
- Strong understanding of the Tyne and Wear job market, particularly within industrial roles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Full UK driving license is an advantage for client visits.
