The Opportunity

We are working with a highly successful and well-established recruitment business in Newcastle that is looking to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its growing Finance division.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-achieving team with a strong reputation in the market, excellent client relationships and a proven track record of success.

The role will focus on the recruitment of part-qualified finance professionals across the UK , working with both candidates and clients to deliver high-quality permanent recruitment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate identification through to placement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across the UK.
• Source, identify and engage high-quality part-qualified finance professionals.
• Build and manage a strong candidate network within the finance market.
• Conduct candidate interviews and provide market insight and career advice.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing client relationships.
• Work closely with colleagues to maximise opportunities and deliver an exceptional service.
• Meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with previous recruitment experience who is confident operating in a target-driven environment.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience within recruitment, ideally professional services, finance or a related market.
• A proven track record of billing and achieving targets.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A commercially minded and ambitious approach.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a successful team.
• A genuine desire to develop a long-term career within a high-performing recruitment business.
