About the Role
Our client, a well-established recruitment consultancy, is looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Sheffield . This role focuses on managing the entire recruitment process for a range of clients, ensuring timely and effective placements. You will be responsible for candidate sourcing, screening, client engagement, and offer negotiation. The position offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility while ensuring strong team collaboration and client interaction. The successful candidate will play a key part in developing the company's presence in the South Yorkshire region and contributing to its overall success by connecting employers with the right talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities.
- Source, screen, and interview potential candidates to match client requirements.
- Develop and execute effective job postings and candidate attraction strategies.
- Coordinate interviews and provide timely feedback to candidates and clients.
- Negotiate employment offers and manage the pre-employment referencing and onboarding process.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team recruitment targets within the Sheffield area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a recruitment consultancy role or a similar target-driven sales environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
- A proactive approach and a desire to build a successful career in recruitment.
- Ability to work effectively within a hybrid model, commuting to the Sheffield office as required.
